Every time I come back to the city, I always try and make the effort to have a look around with a camera, trying to find inspiration in the surroundings. Having lived in Manchester for close to three years now, it's nice to have a change of scenery every few months, in the hope that I'll discover things about Plymouth that I'd never noticed having lived here for 25 years of my life.
As you'll notice over the next few posts, the running theme of our visit seems to be animals and children. We met up with our friends Pablo, Tom & Jen and their little ones for a short time to end the day.
Since the arrival of Ariane in our lives 10 months ago, Elaine and I haven't managed to have a date night to ourselves during the whole time (with the exception of New years Eve for a couple of hours) due to lack of babysitting options up north. After putting her down to bed we escaped for a few hours to have dinner at Wagamama's in the Royal William Yard. Fortunately the evening wasn't a wet one so we managed a little walk around the grounds after dinner before re-entering parent mode.
